Mission Experience

7–17 June 2027: Mission work with St Joseph Aluor Parish, its schools and youth.

- Reading and recreation
- Improve or establish a reading and recreation space, resourced with books and other material. Run reading, storytelling, art and play with teachers.
- Learning support
- Support learners to attend school: school uniforms, sanitary products for girls and a school feeding programme for young learners.
- School for the blind
- Deliver a school-selected improvement and join accessible reading, music and recreation in the shared centre. Teachers use and maintain the resources.
- Girls' mentoring
- School-guided, age-appropriate conversations on education, careers, confidence and practical skills, maintained as a school-led programme.
- Parish catechism
- Assist catechists teaching catechism for different ages using stories, music and creative activities.
Day 18
Siaya to Kisumu
Aluor Parish, Siaya → Kisumu
18 June 2027: Farewell and check-out from Aluor Parish. Road trip to Kisumu and check-in at Sarova Imperial Hotel. Rest and relaxation, then a brief tour of Kisumu City and the National Museum, with dinner at Attela.
